“Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another”-Alfred Adler We all have an innate need to be seen, heard and felt. It is my desire and goal to provide this kind of experience to each and every person I encounter. Some times, it doesn’t seem like there are enough places where we as people can go to breathe, to be, and experience unconditional acceptance. As a Christ-centered counselor, my top priority is to reflect the love and acceptance that Christ has shared with me to you, regardless of your faith, beliefs, and lifestyle.
I provide an environment that is safe and supportive, while establishing trust with you as we move at your pace. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and have all of the internal resources to heal. I typically partner with women, parents, teens, and children in their journey of becoming their very best.
It is my belief that we can all benefit from counseling at some point in our lives. It is one of the hardest, yet best things we can do for ourselves and our children when we come to a point in our lives that change is not only desired but deserved. If you take the first step and reach out, I’ll be there to go the rest of the way with you.
