Family therapy may be recommended in addition to individual therapy. Similar to individual and couples therapy, we will work together to develop a treatment plan that identifies specific goals that the family would like to achieve. Those goals can be but are not limited to, navigating coparenting dynamics, changing unhealthy patterns, improving communication, setting proper boundaries and limits, and working through past and current family conflict.
We believe that people are often best understood in the context of their family. The family systems we are a part of greatly influence our beliefs, traditions, character structures, and values. We will use curiosity and an open-mind to understand the unique makeup of your family’s strengths as well as needs.
